The media section of the Indiana Wine Grape Council�s web site is set up to provide media personnel and consumers with facts and information about the Indiana wine and grape industry.
Indiana�s wine and grape industry is growing at a quick pace, with wineries covering the state from the Chicago area through Indianapolis, south to Louisville, and east to Cincinnati. Currently, Indiana is home to 19 wineries with several more in various development stages throughout the state.
In fact, a groundbreaking ceremony was recently held in Northeast Indiana for the Satek Winery. Opening in the fall of 2000, the Satek Winery will bring the Hoosier State up to 20 wineries.
