STARLIGHT, Ind. - Huber's Orchard, Winery, and Vineyards is hosting the ir Blackberries, BBQ and Jazz on the Patio event Saturday, July 25th and Sunday, July 26th, 2009.
Enjoy delicious BBQ and the fixin's, listen to m us ic provided by some of the best jazz musicians on Saturday & Sunday, and taste a sample of the brilliantly refreshing Blackberry Sangria created by winemaker, Ted Huber.
Dick Sisto, Jamey Aebersold and Dan Faehnle have played festivals and clubs worldwide with some of the biggest names in jazz including Slide Hampton, Diana Krall, David "Fathead" Newman and many more. The groups led by Sisto and Aebersold will present a mainstream selection of blues inflected jazz and standard repertoire that is sure to please all music lovers. The double quartets will be fortified by great rhythm sections of drummers Jonothan Higgins and Jason Tiemann and bass players Tyronne Wheeler, Frank Smith and Jeremy Allen. The Jamey Aebersold Quartet and the Dick Sisto Quartet with Dan Faehnle will be performing on Saturday. On Sunday the concert will feature the Dick Sisto Quartet with Dan Faehnle, playing original tunes and jazz classics.
Jazz can be heard on the patio complimentary and a barbeque chicken, corn-on-the-cob, summer salad, with blackberry cobbler buffet is available for a ticket purchase of $14.99 per adult and $9.99 per child (11 and under).
