The Indiana Uplands Wine Trail will be hosting their Fifth annual "Winter In The Uplands" event but with a new picnic theme twist! This special holiday event will be held November 20, 2009 - January 31, 2010 or while supplies last. Tickets may be purchased at any of the wineries on the trail for $40 each. (The ticket for the event may also be used in conjunction with the free IUWT passport program**.)
Our 2009-2010 Winter In The Uplands event offers the opportunity to visit each winery on the trail where guests will receive a picnic backpack accessory. As you travel on to each remaining IUWT winery you will collect additional items for your backpack, all the while, enjoying the quality wines and fun experience that the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail offers! Upon visiting the last winery on your trail you will receive the final picnic accessory & our limited edition IUWT logo backpack. In the end, you will go home with a stuffed backpack complete with a serving set for 4 : 3 pc. flatware set for 4, coordinating plates & napkins, 4 acrylic wine glasses, wood salt & pepper shakers, hardwood cutting board, cheese knife, corkscrew & an insulated detachable wine bottle pouch, all ready for your next picnic adventure or you can give it to a friend for theirs! And, don't forget that the Winter In The Uplands tickets make an excellent holiday gift too!
**Our 2009 - 2010 Indiana Upland Wine Trail Passport Program details:
Pick up a passport at the first winery on the IUWT, get a logo stamp from each Upland winery along the way & after visiting all nine wineries on the trail, you will receive a complimentary limited edition Indiana Uplands logo picnic blanket as a special thank you! (& they will match nicely with your logo backpack!)
Each passport participant will also be entered into a grand prize drawing to be held at the 2010 Vintage Indiana Wine Festival.
