Join the Indiana Wine Trail for "Souper Saturday!"

Monday, February 14, 2011

The Indiana Wine Trail has added a little more fun for region's cabin-fevered population- "Souper Saturday!" Just when Winter's grip might seem to be relaxing, the Indiana Wine Trail partners have cooked up six rib-sticking reasons to warm up and get out of the cabin! Ertel Cellars Winery and Restaurant, Lanthier Winery, Madison Vineyards Estate Winery, The Ridge Winery, Stream Cliff Farm Winery and The Thomas Family Winery will all showcase their winter warmer soup recipes for all takers on Saturday, February 26th.

"It's a great time to visit these southeastern Indiana wineries, " remarks Jane Demaree, co-owner of Ridge Winery in Vevay, Indiana. "There's nothing like a warm, rich bowl of soup to take away the chill." All the Wineries will showcase a different concoction, centered around their wines. "The soups will be as individualistic as the wines are" said Demaree.

Mark your calendars for February 26, 2011, as well as April 16th and 17th when the Indiana Wine Trail leaps into " Spring into the Valley", a celebration of Bread and Cheese, and Spring's warm weather, green leaves and beautiful flowers.
