Indiana 's Only Meadery Holds Their 1st Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, September 8th!

Elwood, Indiana - New Day Meadery, Indiana 's only winery that specializes in creating handcrafted honey wine, is holding their 1st Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, September 8th from 1 PM to 6 PM. There will be tours, wine tastings ($5 per person), hors d'oeuvres, formal release of our 2006 Semi-Dry Mead, and a chance to win a 6-bottle gift box filled with New Day Meadery honey wine (for 1 penny, must be 21 years or older). They are located at 701 South Anderson Street in Elwood.

New Day Meadery is Indiana 's first and only meadery - a winery specializing in wine made from honey, which is called mead. New Day Meadery offers a distinctive selection of limited edition, small-batch meads created from the finest fresh fruit and raw honey Indiana has to offer. Working with small, family-owned farms gives them access to top quality ingredients; essential in providing excellent tasting mead that can be enjoyed on its own or with a variety of fine foods.
