Meet Traminette, Indiana’s Signature Wine!
Time to explore a floral, inviting and versatile wine, Traminette!
Grown and served at over half of Indiana’s wineries and vineyards, Traminette’s hardiness in cold weather makes it an ideal grape to grow in the Midwest.
Traminette first became commercially available for purchase by the bottle in 1996! The grapes were originally bred at University of Illinois in 1965.
It can be finished into a variety of different white wines, including dry, off-dry, semi-sweet, sweet, sparkling or ice wine styles!
TASTING NOTES: peach, mango, pear, rose, apricot, citrus, floral, orange blossom, melon, pineapple, spicy, honey, passion fruit and more!
PAIRINGS: Serve with rich, spicy, and Asian or Mexican inspired dishes! Pairs well with dry cheeses like gruyere and fontina.

Easley Winery served their Traminette at the 2018 Diner en Blanc, hosted at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
